INTACCT SPRING 2008 DEBUTS Intacct has unveiled Intacct Spring 2008, highlighted by the introduction of Intacct Insight, which delivers real-time business visibility via a Web browser through dashboards, interactive reports, analytics, Web 2.0 mashups, and performance management. Spring 2008 includes some than 225 client- and partner-driven enhancements, including contract renewal automation features. Highlights of Insight include enhanced performance management; simpler configuration; and increased data security, among other features.

RED WING SOFTWARE RELEASES CENTERPOINT FUND ACCOUNTING

Red Wing Software has unveiled CenterPoint Fund Accounting Software for the municipal market. It features a six-month customizable financial statement and chart of accounts, a statement of revenue and expenses following the GASB-recommended format, and an interface to the RVS utility billing system. Multiple funds can be maintained with a unique, customizable chart of accounts, and unlimited fund codes are available. It also includes an integrated payroll app, and budgeting can be done for individual funds such as general, capital project, street, pension, revenue, water/sewer, and others.

NETSUITE DELIVERS ONEWORLD

NetSuite has released NetSuite OneWorld, which enables multi-national and multi-subsidiary companies to manage their global business operations in real-time. It is available as an add-on to NetSuite, and there are no on-going costs. Companies with multiple subsidiaries can use the suite to help manage local operations across multiple locations, and roll the data up for regional and global visibility in their currency of choice. Individual users at the local level get an application in their language, and can transact in the local currency with local taxes and operational compliance enforced, among other features.
