Adrian Martinez

Adrian Martinez is a Senior Vice President and Head of Transaction Products and Services for HSBC Retail Banking and Wealth Management.� He is responsible for a $30BN deposit portfolio and all associated transaction products and services.Martinez joined HSBC in 1994 through Household International�s General Management Training Program.� He has held a variety of roles in consumer finance and banking including ATM Network, Debit Card, Student Lending, Merchant Acquiring, Retail and Small Business Credit Card, Personal and Commercial Unsecured Lending and Retail Deposits.�� He has also managed significant Credit and Operation Risk functions.�Martinez also led the Deposit Account Payment Study for Argus Information and Advisory in 2011.�Martinez received a Bachelor�s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Davis;� a Master�s degree in Soviet Studies from Carleton University; and a Master�s Business Administration from Cornell University.�He is a past member of the MasterCard Debit Advisory Board and the Visa Acquirer Executive Council.�
