Brendan O'Connor

Brendan O�Connor serves as the CEO of Genesis Global Trading and is responsible for executing the strategic vision for the company.� Previously, he served as Managing Director for the Trading Team at SecondMarket, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations for the team, which was focused on trading fixed income securities and digital currencies.� While serving as Managing Director for the Trading Team, Brendan was also a member of the firm�s senior management team and a member of the firm�s risk committee.� Prior to joining SecondMarket, Brendan spent almost nine years working at AllianceBernstein L.P. where he served in a variety of key management and sales positions on both the buy side and the sell side.� He is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University, and holds FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.
