Gary Kochubka is a managing director and lead analytical manager in the US Asset-backed Securities (ABS) Term group of the Structured Finance Department at Standard & Poor�s in New York City.� Gary is responsible for the surveillance of all US ABS Term structured finance ratings including auto loan/lease, credit cards, unsecured consumer, equipment, manufactured housing, and student loans. He is also actively involved in the development of Standard & Poor's structured finance methodologies in his role as analytical manager as well as speaking at industry conferences and seminars.� He is a member of the Financial Essentials Working Group for McGraw-Hill Financial�s Corporate Responsibility team.Prior to transferring to the US ABS group, Gary worked in the Latin America/ Emerging Markets Group of the Structured Finance Department at Standard & Poor�s and is a product specialist for microfinance structured finance transactions, emerging market future flow (financial and operating asset), mortgage- and asset-backed structured finance transactions in Latin America and future flow (financial and operating assets) structured finance transactions for the Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (EEMEA) region.�Prior to being transferred to the Latin America Group, Gary worked in Standard & Poor�s Melbourne office for one and one-half years where he was responsible for rating international mortgage- and asset-backed securities in Australia, New Zealand and South-east Asia.� He has also had primary responsibility for rating international mortgage- and asset-backed securities in Canada and also has considerable knowledge and experience of structured ratings in the United Kingdom.Gary joined the International Structured Finance Group in 1988.� Before joining Standard & Poor�s, he worked at Salomon Brothers Inc. and Manufacturers Hanover Trust Corp.� Gary holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting and Business from DeSales University (Pennsylvania) and a Masters of Business Administration in International Business from Baruch College (New York City).
