Kenneth Gambone

Mr. Gambone began his career in 1989 at Salomon Brothers working as a trading desk analyst on the government repo trading desk. In 1995 he started working at Lehman Brothers in the municipal bond department as short term products trader and later as a short term products specialist in the public finance department. Mr. Gambone transitioned to the Barclays when they acquired the North American broker/dealer of Lehman Brothers which included the entire municipal bond franchise. Mr. Gambone�s national responsibilities include all municipal taxable and tax-exempt short-term product origination for: commercial paper, variable rate demand bonds, put bonds, floating/fixed rate notes, and variable rate remarketed obligations. Additional responsibilities include documentation, money market fund requirements, marketing strategy, monitoring regulatory issues that impact short term products, and procuring bank liquidity/credit support. The short-term products team covers all sectors of the municipal marketplace nationally including: public power, state & local governments, transportation, state housing finance authorities, not-for-profit healthcare, and higher education. Mr. Gambone holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Rhode Island, a M.B.A. in International Finance from Fordham University, and a CTA Certificate in Analysis & Design of Information Systems from Columbia University. Mr. Gambone maintains the following FINRA registrations: Series 7, Series 63, Series 3, and Series 53.
