Steven J. Insel is a partner in the corporate and securities law practice at the firm of Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Mitchell LLP in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Insel specializes in investment adviser and broker dealer matters in addition to other areas of regulation of financial and professional services. He has represented some of the largest financial institutions in the world, and also many boutique wealth management firms and investment banks. Mr. Insel has been counsel in the initial formation of, or acquisition of, approximately 100 broker-dealers and investment advisers.Mr. Insel has represented 35 accounting and business management firms with respect to their entry into financial services and in other regulatory matters.
