Armanino released its annual “CFO Evolution Benchmark Survey,” which found that 81 percent of respondents said being an innovator was critical to their success, and 94 percent said being an influencer was critical to their success. More information and a link to the survey is available here.

Intuit, Mountain View, is inviting the public to visit the Firm of the Future contest page to vote for one of the top four Global Firm of the Future finalists, who will be named the Grand Prize Winner at the QuickBooks Connect conference November 15-17 and receive $25,000. All top four finalists will each receive a $5,000 cash prize and two tickets to the conference.

Green Hasson Janks, Los Angeles, released an entertainment industry survey and corresponding whitepaper, “The Evolution of Profit Participants,” which found that 67 percent of respondents see a decrease in domestic theatrical performances and 63 percent see premium video on demand delivery becoming a business model for mass audiences, among other findings. Set to be released at the firm’s annual Entertainment and Media Forum on October 25, the fifth annual paper addresses how new deal structures, globalization, M&A and technology are disrupting the industry and how this impacts profit participants.
