The Mercadien Group partnered with the Office of Service Learning and Rider University, along with students in its Bonner Community Scholars program, to host an indoor carnival for the preschool class of the Millhill Child & Family Development Center, a nonprofit that provides educational, counseling and family support services to underprivileged children and families in Trenton. Mazars USA announced its annual giving theme for 2018, “fighting hunger,” under which the firm will donate $100,000 to organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life to those in need, while Mazars employees will increase food collection and volunteer efforts to fight hunger in their local communities. Dunlap & Associates, Chalfont, organized a team of 23 staff volunteers to participate in the fall Feed My Starving Children MobilePack food-packing event held at Delaware Valley University Dec. 15, supporting the nonprofit’s efforts to feed hungry children by distributing prepackaged, nutritionally balanced meals.

George Qin, audit partner at MaloneBailey, Houston, attended the Greater Houston Partnership Houston Trade & Investment Mission to China, taking place from December 2 to 9, as the group traveled to Shenzhen, Shanghai and Beijing, China. On the mission to China, led by Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, participants represented Houston and aimed to build connections with some of the top business and political leaders in Shenzhen, Shanghai and Beijing.
