ZG, Beijing, joined PKF International as a member firm of the global network. The signing, which took place in Beijing included Gengchun Yao, chairman at ZG; representatives from the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Beijing Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Hebei Institute of Certificate Public accountants; the chairman of China United Guanghua Holding Group; and John Sim, Amy Hui and Wingsee AuYeung from PKF. The addition of ZG brings PKF’s total offices to more than 400 in 150 countries.

Brettholtz & Company, Fort Myers, is holding its 15th annual nonprofit seminar to educate nonprofits on new accounting issues. The seminar, in partnership with the Southwest Florida Community Foundation and the United Way of Lee, Hendry and Glades Counties, will be held Jan. 25 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the United Way offices in Fort Myers.

Sikich LLP has opened a new office in Akron's White Pond Office Park, in a new 34,500-square-foot building at 274 White Pond Drive.

Bodine Perry, Canfield, is celebrating the 15th anniversary of its founding in 2002 by Matthew Bodine and Daniel Perry. The firm now has offices in Canfield, Warren and Columbus, as well as Naples, Fla.

Boles Metzger Brosius & Emrick PC, Susquehanna Township, has changed its name to Boles Metzger Brosius & Walborn PC, following the acquisition of a firm in Harrisburg, Walborn Naugle Associates, which became official on Jan. 1. Five professionals from WNA have moved to Boles Metzger's office.
