Anna Kooi has joined Baker Tilly Virchow Krause LLP, Chicago as a partner in the financial services practice, while Kaelan Ward has joined the practice as director of business development.

Joe Connell, a partner in the retirement plan services practice of Sikich LLP, Naperville, has been named to the Financial Times’ 2017 list of the top retirement advisors in the U.S. He has been on the list since its creation three years ago.

Nickolas Dillon has joined Lewis & Knopf CPAs PC, Flint, as an audit manager. He will be responsible for conducting audit procedures to prepare complete financial statements, and issuing audit opinions for clients, specifically for school districts, manufacturers and distributors, retailers, employee benefit plans, construction companies and nonprofit entities. He was previously a senior assurance associate at RSM LLP, and a senior associate at Rehmann.

David DiFusco has been named tax leader of the New York office of CohnReznick. He has more than 25 years of experience in tax, including stints at a Big Four firm and as partner-in-charge of New York City tax and business services at a Top 15 firm. In addition, James M. Robbins have joined the firm as a principal. He is an international tax specialist.
