IRS Bites Snoop Dogg with $598,309 Tax Lien

The Internal Revenue Service has filed a tax lien for nearly $600,000 against rapper and actor Snoop Dogg, more than twice as much as a tax lien filed against him last year by the state of California.

The latest tax lien, for $598,309, was filed last month by the IRS, according to the Detroit News, against the 38-year-old performer and his wife.

His real name is Cordozar Calvin Broadus. Last April, it was reported that the California Franchise Tax Board listed Broadus as owing $284,053 and placed a tax lien on his residence (see Snoop Dogg Hit with Tax Lien).
