Accenture to build business solutions on SAP Leonardo platform

Following in Deloitte’s footsteps, Accenture has entered into a partnership with enterprise resource planning software company SAP to develop industry-specific digital solutions on SAP’s Leonardo platform, including for finance and accounting. Leonardo is SAP’s cloud-based Internet of Things and smart technology portfolio of solutions designed to help develop technology to for business processes.

Accenture and SAP have been developing ERP technology together since last year. This expanded partnership will combine Accenture’s intelligent analytics solutions, including those built for finance and accounting, and SAP Leonardo to create new offerings designed for clients to tailor predictive models to their specific business situations.

Among the capabilities SAP Leonardo offers are machine learning, artificial intelligence and blockchain tools.

Accenture plans to integrate more than 50 of its enterprise analytics applications across finance and accounting, supply chain, procurement, human capital management, and sales and customer service, with SAP Leonardo.
