Kansas City, Mo. (Aug. 12, 2002) -- The Association for Accounting Marketing has named Michael W. Toohey as its executive director.
Toohey will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Association, the member services, and for working with other staff members on the annual meeting.
He previously served as the Director of Conferences with the Association of Record Managers and Administrators International, where his main responsibilities included arrangements for the annual international conference, educational seminars, and all other meetings. Prior to that he was the executive director for the Plumbing Industry Council and the local and state chapters of the Plumbing, Heating, Cooling Contractors in St. Louis.
