Pleasanton, Calif. (Dec. 4, 2003) -- Accpac has launched version 3.4 of its Warehouse Management System for small and midsized warehouse managers.
“Getting manufactured goods in and out the door efficiently is one of the most basic business management processes, but it’s one that many companies still struggle with,” said Craig Downing, Accpac International vice president of product management.
Some of the enhancements in the latest version include: optimized kitting; improved serialized inventory control; new lading and manifest tracking features; an inventory replenishment and picking tool; and additional security features. An advance replenishment by minimum and maximum feature provides real-time visibility of unallocated inventory, while an advance replenishment by velocity feature lets users track the timeframe in which inventory is turned over. Pricing starts at $30,000.
The Accpac Warehouse Management System is a Web and handheld device-based, single-source product that integrates with Accpac Advantage Series and Accpac Pro Series accounting systems as well as other Accpac end-to-end business management applications.
