Amex TBS Promotes Four to Managing Director

New York (Feb. 4, 2004) -- Accounting firm consolidator American Express Tax and Business Services, promoted James Ferrara, Alan Kufeld, George Teixeira and Alan Woghin to the post of managing director.

Ferrara currently advises midsized corporations  and  high-net-worth individuals in a wide range of tax planning services, including minimizing tax liabilities.

Kufeld, has  more  than  14  years of experience in tax consulting,  planning  and  preparation.  He specializes in personal financial

planning,  including   the  structuring  and  implementation  of  estate,  gift, charitable,   education  and  retirement  planning.

Teixeira currently provides tax services for financial services clients, which include large investment partnerships.

Woghin is a managing director in the National Healthcare

Practice of  TBS and a 15-year veteran of providing tax and accounting services to health-care organizations as well as both not-for-profit and for-profit corporations.

The  promotions increase Amex TBS’  roster to 71 managing directors overseeing  450  staff  professionals.
