Anders CPA + Advisors, along with their Young Professionals group, recently hosted a "Christmas in July" toy drive inside the firm, benefiting their 2017 Charity of Choice, Shriners Hospitals for Children – St. Louis.
The Anders Young Professionals came up with the idea in order to re-supply Shriners with toys in the summertime, as donations are typically fewer when compared to the busier holiday season.
The firm set up a Christmas tree in their office complete with ornaments naming a desired item. Anders staff were free to choose ornaments and donate that item under the tree. Anders staff members also contributed 53 hand-made tie blankets with their over 200 toys and games, which were then donated to children in recovery at Shriners.
