Andersen's Twin Cities Office Jumps to D&T

     

Minneapolis (June 13, 2002) -- As a jury deliberated for a seventh day in Andersen's trial on federal obstruction charges, the Big Five firm continued to lose both audit clients and partners at a rapid clip, as roughly 230 of its tax and audit employees here, jumped to rival Deloitte & Touche.Some 16 Andersen partners were included in the deal, including the managing partner in Andersen’s Minneapolis office.

In addition to losing partners and offices to rival firms, Andersen also has lost nearly 700 of its audit clients.
