App of the Week

These days whatever is on the market to work better with PDFs while on the go will at least get a look – or a download -- and iAnnotate PDF is garnering serious attention from those looking to read and make their own notes on their PDF files.

Designed specifically for tablet use, Android and iPad in particular, iAnnotate PDF lets users annotate, manage, search, and share documents. The app is especially popular for  taking notes on lecture slides, annotating business documents, grading papers, and signing contracts.

The latest new version of iAnnotate PDF features tabs, allowing you to have multiple PDFs open at the same time. iAnnotate PDF now also features support for Box's new OneCloud functionality. Using OneCloud you can open PDF files directly from the Box app, make annotations in iAnnotate, and easily save back to Box. Users can also link with Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft SkyDrive, WebDAV, and iTunes file sharing;

Other iAnnotate PDF features allow users to interact with your documents by thumbnails, bookmarks, annotations, or search results; open multiple document tabs and navigate between them for tabbed reading; compress your annotations onto the document to prevent them from being modified; and view and edit documents in external PDF readers including Adobe Acorbat and Mac Preview.
iAnnotate PDF is currently available at the iTunes store for $1.99 and free on Google Play.
