Blackbaud Acquires Intelitix, Forms new Division

Charleston, SC (April 14, 2003) - Blackbaud, a high-volume provider of non-profit software, has acquired ticketing and patron-management concern Intelitix, and as a result of the purchase, formed a new business unit that will focus on technology solutions for nonprofits that raise money and sell tickets.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Christopher South, who joined Blackbaud two years ago as chief information officer, will head the division, which will be staffed by former Intelitix employees and additional new hires.

With acquisition, Blackbaud will also assume support functions for existing Intelitix customers and focus on enhancing immediate needs for additional product functionality.
