Booklet Offered to Help Transition to Fee-Only Planning

Conshohocken, Pa. (June 27, 2003) -- Financial planning vendor eMoney Advisor announced Thursday that it has published a free guide for planners considering a move to fee-only advice.

The booklet, "Transitioning to Financial Planning -- A Management Guide," offers a how-to workshop on moving from a product or commission-based model to a services, fee-only method for offering financial advice.

"The industry is clearly trending toward fee-based financial planning," said eMoney Advisory president Scott Smith. "Planners need help in transitioning and in determining their fee structure for their services. The questions that planners always get asked by their clients are, 'What am I paying for?' and 'Where's the value in the fee?' Having the right knowledge and the right tools can make the planner feel more comfortable. That is our aim."

The booklet is available at www.emoneyadvisor.com.
