Westwood, Mass.-based accounting firm Gray, Gray & Gray LLP will acquire the Norwood, Mass. practice of Clark R. Rattet & Associates PC.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed, though Rattet principal Clark Rattet will become a partner in the combined firm.
Gray, Gray & Gray has practice specialties in energy, franchises, engineering/architecture, life sciences and real estate, while Rattet’s nearly 20-year-old firm brings a wide variety of clients, as well as a niche specialty in the auditing of employee benefit plans.
Gray, Gray & Gray was originally founded in Boston in 1945, and relocated to Westwood in 1999. The combined firm will continue operating under the Gray, Gray & Gray name out of the firm’s existing Westwood office.
Gray, Gray & Gray is a member of CPAmerica, a national network of affiliated accounting firms.
