San Jose, Calif. (Feb. 11, 2004) -- Ireland San Filippo, a $13.9 million accounting a firm based here, has expanded its offerings with the launch of an independent fee-based advisory firm, ISF Investment Advisers LLC.

The firm has named Ramon (Ray) J. Polin as managing director of ISFIA. Polin will operate as the senior investment advisor to private, institutional and corporate clients alike. He most recently served as the western regional investment consultant for KPMG Investment Advisors in San Francisco.

ISFIA will not offer proprietary products, manage money or operate a trading desk, and does not accept commissions.

"This new service line is a logical extension of the trusted relationships we have developed with our clients over the years," said Robert A. Lee, managing partner of ISF. "ISFIA is our strategic response to client requests for a seamless and consolidated financial and wealth management solution."

ISFIA services include financial planning; investment policy development; asset allocation analysis; money manager research; performance measurement and reporting; investment advice for defined-benefit plans and 401(k) plans; and corporate executive programs.
