Riverwoods, Ill. (Dec. 17, 2003) -- Leading tax research and software provider CCH Inc. has teamed with legal, business and news information provider LexisNexis to provide electronic research tax materials to up to 35,000 Internal Revenue Service employees.


CCH's content was selected as part of a multi-year contract awarded to LexisNexis under the IRS's Service-wide Electronic Research Program. Under the contract, CCH tax content will be available to thousands of IRS employees through the Internet and on CD-ROM.


The information will include CCH's core federal tax information, such as the CCH Standard Federal Tax Reporter and Federal Tax Service, as well as CCH materials on new tax legislation, exempt organizations and other issues, and a number of CCH journals and newsletters. CCH also will provide IRS personnel with a stand-alone CD-ROM of its U.S. Master Tax Guide.


The LexisNexis contract also includes content from Matthew Bender, Tax Analysts, Kleinrock, ABA, and Practising Law Institute.
