Provectus Pharmaceuticals Taps BDO Seidman: Provectus Pharmaceuticals dismissed Bierwolf Nilson & Associates as its auditor and named Chicago-based BDO Seidman as its successor.
According to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing, Bierwolf’s Dec. 31, 2002, report on Provectus financials raised "substantial doubt about the company’s ability to continue as a going concern."
Sierra Monitor Cans KPMG: Big Four firm KPMG was let go as principal accountant to Sierra Monitor on Dec. 27, 2002, according to an 8-K filing with the SEC.
As a result, Sierra Monitor, which manufactures gas and flame detectors and control systems, appointed Squar, Milner, Reehl & Williamson as its replacement.
Community Capital Selects Elliot Davis: Community Capital Corp., a Greenwood, S.C.-based bank holding company, hired Elliott Davis as its auditor, replacing Tourville Simpson & Caskey, who resigned on Jan. 9 according to an 8-K filing.
Tourville Simpson & Caskey had served as the company’s auditor for 12 years, and resigned after some of its auditors left to work at Elliott Davis.
Nortech Replaces Larson Allen: Nortech Systems Inc., a Wayzata, Minn.-based provider of high tech and electromechanical systems, appointed Big Four firm KPMG as its 2002 auditor, replacing Larson Allen Weishair & Co.
