Peoria, Ill. (Aug. 18, 2004) -- Top-ranked firm Clifton Gunderson has tapped Jeff Hapeman, the head of its Wisconsin technology practice, as its chief technology officer, replacing Matt Camden, who departed the firm in April.

Hapeman merged his Madison, Wis.-based information technology firm, Network Technology Solutions, with Clifton Gunderson to form Clifton Gunderson Technology Solutions in June 2003. Hapeman also continues to lead CG's Wisconsin technology practice.

Camden, credited with launching Clifton Gunderson’s technology consulting practice eight years ago, announced in March that he would leave the firm to start his own technology practice, but then accepted a post at UHY Advisors Inc., then known as Centerprise Advisors, as that firm's first chief information officer.

In his CTO role, Hapeman will be responsible for Clifton Gunderson's technology infrastructure as well as quality control of technology services, e-business and future growth.
