Deloitte Names Rohr CFO

New York (June 23, 2004) -- Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu has tapped Jeffrey P. Rohr as chief financial officer of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and its U.S. member firm, Deloitte & Touche LLP.

Rohr, 54, has served as regional managing partner of the U.S. firm's Midwest practice in Chicago since 1995. He succeeds Bill Fowler, who is retiring after 38 years with the firm, including the last nine as CFO.

As CFO, Rohr will join the firm's U.S. operating and executive committees, as well as the global management committee. Rohr, who joined Deloitte in 1972, previously served as managing partner for the firm's Central Atlantic practice and as national director of business planning for the firm's U.S. practice in New York.

Deloitte has named Deborah L. DeHaas to succeed Rohr as U.S. Midwest regional managing partner. The firm's Midwest practice includes nearly 5,000 firm professionals across five states. Since joining Deloitte in 2002, DeHaas has served as regional managing partner of strategic client services for Deloitte's Midwest region.
