DHG podcast honors Women's History Month

Top 100 Firm Dixon Hughes Goodman marked Women's History Month this March with a series of podcast episodes focused on notable female leaders in the profession.

As part of the firm's inclusion and diversity council, which seeks to increase the number of women in leadership roles within the firm and beyond, Dixon Hughes Goodman produced three podcast episodes this month that met with firm clients, staff and diversity leaders to further explore the subject.

"For women, barriers to success are diminishing by the minute," stated Alice Grey Harrison, director of corporate communications at DHG and the podcast's host. "After talking with three very impressive female business leaders on our DHG podcast series, I have no doubt the future is already here. The business community is leading the way to remove bias and barriers that have plagued the generations before us – the diverse thought that women bring to the table has become a business imperative for successful organizations. I am so proud of the work DHG is doing to shed a light on this important topic and honored to have had the opportunity to share the stories of these trail-blazing leaders.”

This month's podcasts include interviews with:

  • DHG client Stacy Struminger, president and founder of RainRaps
  • DHG managing partner Heather Cozart.
  • Dr. Nika White, an "inclusion and diversity practitioner" who promotes best practices of in the workplace.
