Financial Planning Expert Francis Joins PwC

Washington (Aug. 29, 2003) -- High-profile CPA financial planner Bart Francis has joined the Washington office of Big Four firm PricewaterhouseCoopers.

In his new role, Francis leads a 13-member team in PwC's Personal Financial Services Practice. The practice provides a suite of tax and financial planning services to corporate executives, business owners, athletes and entertainers, and other high-net-worth individuals.

Prior to joining PwC at the beginning of August, Francis served as president of Coral Gables, Fla.-based Evensky, Brown & Katz. He previously was a personal financial counseling partner at Ernst & Young.

Francis serves as a member of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Governors and on the American Institute of CPAs Personal Financial Planning Executive Committee.
