* Florida

CPAmerica, Alachua, announced that, with 52 new firms added, it became the largest network of independent CPA firms in the U.S. in 2004.

* Georgia

Tauber & Balser PC has moved into new offices at 1155 Perimeter Center West, Suite 600, Atlanta.

* Illinois

The Leading Edge Alliance, Chicago, announced that two firms have joined its membership: Dr. Kleeberg and Partner GmbH, Munich, Germany, with seven partners and 62 total staff; and Van Oers Accountants en Belastingadviseurs, The Netherlands, with 12 partners and 165 total staff.

* Japan

Cosmos & Co., Nagoya, has joined the Asia/Pacific region of IGAF Worldwide, a network of independent accounting firms. Cosmos has 15 partners and six qualified accountants, as well as a branch office in Tokyo.

* Massachusetts

Rodman & Rodman PC, Newton, announced that it is now offering software training classes for QuickBooks and Peachtree.

* New Jersey

WithumSmith+Brown PC has moved its East Brunswick staff (formerly Mendlowitz Weitsen LLP) to its New Brunswick office at 120 Albany Street, Suite 201.
