GEORGIA

Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, Atlanta, has announced a new Cherry Bekaert & Holland Accounting Scholarship. Funds for the scholarship were personally provided by partner J. Allen Poole, who has committed to giving $25,000 over 10 years, to be awarded in annual disbursements of $2,500 to a junior, senior or graduate school accounting major at his alma mater, Georgia State University.

ILLINOIS

DePaul University, Chicago, has launched the Center for Global Accounting Education, Benchmarking and Research to promote international accounting and auditing standards. John Ahern, a DePaul professor, will lead the center.

MISSOURI

Brown Smith Wallace LLC, St. Louis, has created a new service line, Business Intelligence Plus, to offer current and historical financial and operation information and solutions for reporting, analysis and business performance management. Dave Winkler will head the practice.

NEW YORK
