The Weaver and Tidwell Private Foundation, Dallas-Forth Worth, named Reading Is Fundamental its Charity of Choice for 2008-09. The foundation donated $60,000 to RIF, and staff from Weaver and Tidwell LLP participated in the first Weaver and Tidwell Private Foundation Employee Volunteer Fun Day in January, helping with RIF book distributions in Dallas, Fort Worth and Houston.
