Former Microsoft exec joins Acumatica board

Acumatica, maker of cloud-based financial management software, has welcomed Kirill Tatarinov, former president of the Microsoft Business Solutions Division, to its board of directors. He has extensive experience in the enterprise software industry, including ERP products, which makes him a “natural fit” for Acumatica, the company reported.

At Microsoft, Tatarinov was responsible for the software giant's Dynamics business. Most recently, he was president and CEO of Citrix Systems, as well as a member of the Citrix board of directors. While at Citrix, he led a turnaround of the company, including its transition to the cloud.

“Kirill is a very big proponent of advanced technology, and his views align well with our intelligent ERP efforts on machine learning, natural user interfaces, and blockchain,” said Acumatica CEO Jon Roskill in a statement. “Having another technology advocate on the Board will continue to inspire our product development.”

“I am truly excited to join the board of Acumatica and help advance this amazing growth story," added Tatarinov. "I believe the company is well positioned to transform the world of business applications and continue to galvanize its broad partner ecosystem.”
