New York (Feb. 4, 2004) -- Dan Goldwasser, a partner in the law firm of Vedder, Price, Kaufman & Kamholz and a frequent consultant to the accounting profession, has been named to the Auditing Standards Board of the American Institute of CPAs.
A 36-year veteran of the legal profession, Goldwasser is a frequent conference speaker and is recognized as one of the country’s leading experts on accounting law issues. He also has served on the defense panel of several insurers offering liability insurance to accountants and attorneys.
With the appointment, Goldwasser becomes one the five public members of the ASB.
