INTUIT ELEVATES GOODARZI AND WARD; COMBINES DIVISIONSTax and financial software provider Intuit Inc. has named Sasan Goodarzi president of its Intuit Financial Institutions Division and a senior vice president of the company, and tapped Jill Ward, vice president of its Accountants Central unit, to serve as vice president and general manager of its newly formed Intuit Accounting Professionals Division.

Goodarzi, who most recently served as vice president of the company's tax division, will now oversee the arm that houses Digital Insight, the online banking concern acquired by Intuit in January for $1.35 billion. Ward will helm the IAPD, which now incorporates both Intuit's ProTax and Accountant Central units.

Ward will relocate from Intuit's Mountain View headquarters to Plano, Texas, while Goodarzi will move from Plano to the IFID headquarters in Calabasas, Calif.

NETSUITE UPGRADES WHOLESALE AND SERVICES VERTICALS

Browser-based business management application provider NetSuite has released new features for its Version 2007.0 suite for its Wholesale/Distribution and its Services Company Editions.

New features for the 2007.0 Wholesale/Distribution Edition include graphical tools such as a transaction form assistant that allows users to customize quotes, orders and invoices delivered via e-mail or self-service to customers; a matrix item assistant for inventory management; vendor return authorizations that aim to track approval and item return statuses; an extended real-time FedEx integration with Canada for e-commerce shoppers; a multi-location inventory that can help specify which locations may carry available items; and the ability to tailor records such as serialized inventory, lot numbers, item labels and item receipts.

Available now, NetSuite Wholesale/Distribution Edition and NetSuite Services Company Edition Version 2007.0 are priced at $999 per month for the base suite and $99 per user per month.
