CPA2BIZ TO RESELL GOOGLE ADWORDS TO ACCOUNTING FIRMSNew York - The American Institute of CPAs' business subsidiary CPA2Biz has signed a deal with Google to offer Google AdWords as a way for accounting firms to market and promote their services via local paid search ads.

Google's AdWords service delivers keyword-targeted ads when Web users search for particular products and services. The AdWords program would allow accounting firms and practitioners to reach more potential clients who are searching for local professional service providers.

As an authorized Google AdWords reseller, CPA2Biz plans to help small firms develop effective AdWords campaigns so they can compete better with larger firms.

THOMSON REUTERS INTRODUCES PAYROLL SERVICE

Dexter, Mich. - Thomson Reuters' Tax & Accounting business has unveiled Service Bureau Payroll CS, aimed at high-volume payroll processors.

Service Bureau Payroll CS provides users with invoicing, reporting and processing tools. Features include batch-mode check entry, multiple payroll schedules per client, automatic address and tax jurisdiction validation, impounding, direct deposit, remote payroll data entry and remote check-printing options.

PAYROLL PROVIDER OFFERS BILINGUAL SOFTWARE

Oakland, Calif. - Perquest has introduced a bilingual feature that allows Spanish-speaking and English-speaking employees to view payroll information online in their native language.

The bilingual feature comes standard in the payroll provider's Employee Self-Service software. Client employees can securely access frequently reviewed payroll information such as their salary, pay history, tax status, direct deposit and more. Users can access the information at any time from any personal computer with Internet access.
