Cleveland (June 29, 2004) -- To usher in the launch of CRE Manager, its new real estate management product, accounting software provider Intuit Inc. has partnered with manufacturing conglomerate Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. to help design strategies and directions for the new product.
CRE Manager 1.0, which is available immediately, integrates the corporate real estate lifecycle from site selection to site disposition. The product is designed to trim operating costs within corporate real estate property management. Its features include event management tools, customization tools for users, real estate administration, and an end-to-end workflow engine.
The product was unveiled through MRI Real Estate Solutions, based here, a wholly owned subsidiary of Intuit Inc.
MRI representatives said that Goodyear’s position as both a manufacturer and supplier as well as an operator and manager of corporate facilities, manufacturing plants, distribution centers and retail outlets was a primary factor in the partnership.
