JLK Rosenberger Merges in Ewbank Insurance Group

Details: The Ewbank Insurance Group, the 10th largest auditor of life insurance entities in the U.S., has joined JLK Rosenberger, the 18th largest auditor of property and casualty insurers in the U.S., to become the largest insurance specialty firm in the West.

Both firms have served the insurance industry for over 30 years, guiding clients through the regulatory, statutory and business challenges faced by insurance companies. JLK Rosenberger is a full-service CPA firm serving the insurance industry from offices in Texas and California.

“This is an amazing opportunity to strengthen our insurance team and broaden our reach,” said Bill Rosenberger, who leads JLK Rosenberger’s Insurance Practice, in a statement. “The Ewbank Group is well-known and respected in the insurance community. Purdy Powers & Co. Merges in Marshall & Libby

Details: Purdy Powers is expanding its presence in Portland, Maine, by merging in Marshall & Libby.
Marshall & Libby will be moving into Purdy Powers’ expanded office in Portland, according to the Portland Press Herald.

The deal is expected to expand Purdy Powers’ expertise in accounting, auditing, management and business consulting, tax planning and other services.

Jablonski-Madill Merges with Rosenbaum Business Consulting

Details: The investment firm Jablonski-Madill Inc., based in Duluth, is combining with Rosenbaum Business Consulting, an accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Superior, to create JMR Financial Group Inc.

The merger took effect on January 1, according to the Duluth News Tribune.

Alex Jablonski and Rick Madill of Jablonski-Madill are transferring ownership of their firm to a new generation, Nathan Madill and Robin Rosenbaum, as part of the deal but plan to stay with the combined firm for the next few years to help with the transition.
