Kabat Schertzer Merges in Stuart Sotta & Co.

Details: Miami-based accounting and tax advisory firm Kabat, Schertzer, De La Torre, Taraboulos and Company has merged in Stuart Sutta and Company, a 39-year-old tax accounting and advisory firm serving individuals and small businesses throughout the world.

With the merger, Stuart Sutta has been named a partner at KSDT and will work out of the firm’s Miami office.

“Since setting up his practice in 1977, Stuart has been at the forefront of our profession’s technological evolution and was one of the first firms in Florida to go paperless,” said KSDT managing partner Jeffrey Taraboulos in a statement. “We welcome him and his long-term clients to our firm.”

Sutta noted his history with members of the KSDT management team goes back nearly 25 years, when he shared office space with Jack Taraboulos. “Today, I am proud to join a team that shares my commitment to our profession and to upholding the highest levels of client services,” he said.

KSDT merged in two other firms last year, Roth, Jonas & Mittelberg in Miami, and SI Gordon & Co. in Coral Springs, Fla. (see Kabat, Schertzer, De La Toree, Taraboulos & Co. Merges in SI Gordon & Co. and Kabat Schertzer Merges in Roth Jobnas).
