CliftonLarsonAllen acquires IAAA

Details: Top 100 Firm CliftonLarsonAllen has acquired Illinois Agricultural Auditing Association, a Normal, Ill.- based accounting and consulting group providing services to Midwest agricultural businesses. Founded in 1924, IAAA provides services to agricultural membership organizations as well as grain elevators, farm supply retailers and seed companies. The new addition will increase CliftonLarsonAllen's footprint throughout Bloomington, Normal and Springfield, Ill. More than 20 IAAA professionals will join CLA, which will boost the firm's agricultural and cooperatives group to more than 125 employees.

 

MARYLAND

Lombardo Wagner & Co. merges with Allen Ayers

Details: Andrew Lombardo and Matthew Wagner, of Lombardo Wagner & Co., have agreed to merge with Allen Ayers. The full-service accounting, tax and business consulting firm will now operate under the name Lombardo Wagner Ayers & Co.

 

MASSACHUSETTS

Bollus Lynch adds KBKF

Details: Bollus Lynch, a Worcester, Mass.-based accounting firm, has agreed to add Kashuk, Bourgault, Kittredge & Frustaci to its roster. KBKF partners Edward Kittredge, Edward Bourgault and Nancy Meehan - along with four additional staff members - plan to join Bollus Lynch. KBKF was founded in 1962 and serves clients in the manufacturing, contracting and insurance sectors.

BrainSell acquires Bonadio Group's Sage practice

Details: Sage North America partner BrainSell Technologies announced the acquisition of The Bonadio Group's Sage 100 software practice. Bonadio clients currently using the product will continue to receive Sage Software support under BrainSell, and will have access to the solution provider's ERP engineers and CRM and marketing automation experts and tools.

 

MARYLAND

KPMG buys Cynergy Systems

Details: Big Four firm KPMG has completed its acquisition of Cynergy Systems. Baltimore-based Cynergy specializes in strategy, design and development in mobile, Web and desktop. "This acquisition advances our capabilities to help businesses integrate digital and mobile technologies across their enterprises," John Veihmeyer, KPMG's chairman and chief executive officer, said in a statement.

 

NEW YORK

EY adds BPM Consultancy

Details: Ernst & Young announced that BPM Specialists, a provider of business process management technology services, has joined the organization in the U.S. The addition of BPM, which specializes in configuring Pega software applications for Fortune 500 companies, continues the Big Four firm's strategy to grow its integrated business and technology service offerings to financial service organizations.

 

VIRGINIA

Deltek adds Sohnar

Details: Deltek has acquired software provider Sohnar and its Traffic LIVE cloud-based front-end solution.

The acquisition adds to Deltek's professional services automation solutions, which deliver front-office capabilities for marketing agencies and project-based companies to manage their businesses and deliver projects and engagements for their customers.
