Marks Paneth & Shron, Dlugash & Kevelson to Merge

New York (Feb. 4, 2003) - Large New York-area CPA firm Marks Paneth & Shron, merged with local tax and financial planning boutique firm Dlugash & Kevelson.

Terms were not disclosed.

The combined entity will now have 300 employees with an aggregate $45 million in revenues. Dlugash & Kevelson clients will continue to be served by the same staff.

In addition to tax financial and management services, MP&S has forged specialty niches in real estate, media and entertainment technology and the furniture industries. Marks Paneth & Shron ranked No. 37 on Accounting Today's 2002 Top 100 firms list with revenues of $40 million.
