McDonough, DiPiazza To Appear at SBC Hearing

Washington (Sept. 17, 2003) -- William McDonough, chairman of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, and PricewaterhouseCoopers chief executive Sam DiPiazza are among those scheduled to testify on Sarbanes-Oxley before the Senate Banking Committee September 23.

Both will be called as witnesses as the SBC conducts hearings on "the implementation of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and restoring investor confidence."

Also slated to appear before the SBC are Ed Nusbaum, chief executive of national CPA firm Grant Thornton and Sean Harrigan, president of the CalPERS Board of Administration.
