Detroit-based Moore Stephens Doeren Mayhew plans to expand to other parts of Europe beyond Switzerland. “Our merger with Emerson & Partner U.S. Tax GmbH is the first step in expanding the international footprint of our firm and enables us to better serve our clients,” Moore Stephens Doeren Mayhew director Joseph A. The firm is part of the Moore Stephens North America network, which is part of the Moore Stephens International network of accounting firms. The addition of the Zurich firm will expand its foothold in Europe.

“For the past 10 years, we have been quietly working here in Zurich providing our clients around the world with the peace of mind that comes with satisfying their U.S. tax compliance requirements,” said Clint Emerson in a statement.  “Now, as a member of the Moore Stephens network, we are even more capable. We look forward to utilizing our new resources to provide our existing and future clients with even better service.”
