The NASBA Center for the Public Trust (CPT) has announced that their decade-plus Being a Difference award has been revised as the Bill Daniels Being a Difference Award program this year, sponsored by the Daniels Fund.

Named in honor of cable pioneer Bill Daniels, the award looks to celebrate leaders who exceptionally manage both their businesses and their communities through service. Winners will be selected based on eight specific principles that the late Daniels honored: integrity; trust; accountability; transparency; fairness; respect; rule of law; and viability.

The CPT awards the Bill Daniels Being a Difference award up to four individuals annually. Nominations will be accepted year-round, but the CPT encourages nominate candidates by June 15, 2017, to be considered for the next class of honorees.
