Nominations Open for Finance Exec of the Year

The Institute of Management Accountants and Robert Half International have issued a call for nominations for the Financial Executive of the Year Award.

The award, established by the IMA in 1995, recognizes the outstanding performance and exceptional accomplishments of financial executives throughout the country.

The IMA and RHI will select a Financial Executive of the Year in each of the IMA's participating regional councils throughout the United States. In addition, one regional winner will be honored with the national Financial Executive of the Year Award. The IMA and the executive management of RHI will select the national award winner.

Nominees do not have to be members of the IMA to be eligible. Nominees should exhibit leadership qualities, be responsible and ethical professional role models, positively influence their companies' profits and operational efficiency, and lead their companies to produce results, while helping to foster the growth of the finance and accounting professions as a whole through continuing professional education, student involvement or other contributions to the financial community.

Nominations will be accepted until Sept. 1, 2005, via an online nomination form only. The form can be found at feya.rhi.com/form.htm.

Award winners will be invited to attend an awards presentation, receive a complimentary two-year IMA membership and be recognized in the IMA's Strategic Finance magazine and The Wall Street Journal. The national winner will receive an additional complimentary year of IMA membership and a $2,500 student scholarship donated to the school of his choice.
