Oregon Society of CPAs announces 2018-19 scholarship recipients

The Oregon Society of CPAs and its Educational Foundation recently announced its scholarship recipients for the 2018-19 academic year.

Ranging from $1,000 to $3,000 each, $101,925 worth of scholarships were awarded to 48 students based on factors such as academic performance and their desire to earn their CPA license in the state.

This year's recipients were honored at the OSCPA's 2018 Circle of Excellence, held May 10 in Portland. Honorees also had the opportunity to network with local CPAs, fund donors and firm representatives.

Since its inception in 1985, the OSCPA Educational Foundation has awarded over $2 million to more than 1,200 accounting students in the state of Oregon.
