Postlethwaite & Netterville plans CEO transition

Postlethwaite & Netterville, a firm based in Baton Rouge, La., has selected one of its directors, Dan Gardiner, as its next CEO and managing director in May 2018, succeeding the current CEO, Bill Balhoff.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to lead such an innovative and high quality firm,” Gardner said in a statement Wednesday. “P&N’s growth over the years has been tremendous, and we remain focused on providing the best service to our clients. I am proud of the firm we have become and excited about where we are heading next.”

Gardiner will work closely with Balhoff over the course of the next 12 months to facilitate the leadership transition at P&N. Balhoff has been managing director and CEO for the past nine years and has worked at the firm since 1976.

“Dan is a proven leader,” Balhoff said in a statement. “He has strong technical skills and great business insights. I have worked closely with Dan for many years and I have no doubt that he will continue to lead P&N forward without losing sight of the values upon which this firm was built.”
