Saginaw, Mich. (Jan. 6, 2003) -- The Rehmann Group, a large CPA and consulting firm headquartered here, agreed to merge with intra-state competitor Parker Wittus & Co. of Southfield.
Terms were not disclosed.
The Rehmann Group has 350 professionals located in 10 cities across the state. Parker Wittus & Co. encompasses 75 employees in two Detroit-area offices, Troy and Southfield.
Over the next six months, Parker Wittus & Co.’s approximately 35 professionals will maintain their Southfield offices. Phil Bahr will remain as managing partner. Meanwhile, Bill Holtman will continue to act as managing partner for The Rehmann Group’s 40 employees in Troy.
Founded in the early 1940s, the firms are among Michigan’s oldest accounting firms.
