Reznick Fedder & Silverman Launches New Brand, Plans for Expansion

As it gears up for expansion, top-ranked accounting firm Reznick Fedder & Silverman is getting a new name, a new brand and a new logo.

The Bethesda-based firm has changed its name to Reznick Group and rolled out a new brand statement, "Building Business Value," the firm's managing principal, Kenneth E. Baggett announced.

"Our 10-year strategic plan calls for major national growth and to continue moving toward the top ranking of firms in our field," Baggett said. "To get there, we are going to leverage the firm's unique benefits to our clients, expand our name recognition nationally, and attract and retain the best people. This new name fully recognizes that our company consists of a diverse group of professionals, with multiple areas of expertise."

Reznick Group, which serves the real estate, nonprofit, government, health care, and emerging and commercial business industries, ranked No. 21 on Accounting Today's 2004 Top 100 Firms list, with $75.82 million in revenue for fiscal 2003, making it the largest regional firm in the Northeast outside of the metro New York area.

The firm, which has East Coast offices in Atlanta, Baltimore, and Charlotte, N.C., recently added a fifth office in Sacramento, Calif. In May, Reznick Group announced the expansion of its government services practice, which will more than double in size this year.
