Right Networks continues focus on tech improvement with new CIO

Right Networks, which provides cloud hosting services for CPA firms, has named Jim Walsh its new chief information officer (CIO). He will be guiding the technology strategy for the company’s cloud infrastructure, and will lead the scaling of the corporate IT and security functions.

Prior to joining Right Networks, Walsh served as vice president and CIO at Virtustream for the past year. Before Virtustream, Walsh spent seven years at Constant Contact helping develop and scale the software as a service company’s enterprise systems and technology. Before Constant Contact, Walsh held senior technology management executive positions at Peoplefluent, Saba Software, and Concentra.

This year, Right Networks released a user management portal app, allowing accountants to manage staff permissions and client onboarding themselves should they want to. The company also reached the 100,000 user mark in June.

“We are pleased to welcome Jim Walsh to our executive team as Right Networks takes the next step to expand and grow our reach in the marketplace,” said John Farrer, CEO of Right Networks, in a statement. “Jim’s extensive experience in helping develop teams, workflow and technology operations for mid-stage and later-stage SaaS companies makes him excellent addition to the team.”
