Top 5 Firm RSM US recently held their eighth annual Volunteer Day last month, in which over 3,100 RSM staff members and clients gave their time to volunteer at over 100 charity organizations across the country.

“Since our firm was founded in 1926, one of our leading values has always been stewardship,” stated Joe Adams, managing partner and CEO of RSM US. “Our annual Volunteer Day gives employees the opportunity to give back to the communities where we live and work. It not only facilitates teamwork, but also deepens our employees’ relationships with local nonprofit organizations.”

Among the activities this year's volunteers took part in included preparing food donations, donating clothing, read to children, painting buildings and homes, and landscaping yards for schools, parks, and shelters.

Additionally, the RSM US Foundation’s "Dollars for Doers" program matched staff volunteer hours with monetary donations towards charity organizations.

“Our firm has a long-standing focus on stewardship that benefits tomorrow’s business leader,” said Doug Opheim, chief financial officer and chairman of the RSM US Foundation. “The Dollars for Doers program is a great opportunity to multiply the time investment that our employees make each year. We are honored to support our employees’ philanthropic efforts and the charities that help build tomorrow’s business leaders.”
